Hi
The battery was dead so I boosted it from a car - but the battery was so low that it wouldn't run properly and stalled as soon as I removed the cables. I've installed a new battery now, but all I get when I hit the ignition is the solenoid clicking rapidly. I know I have enough juice because it does the same thing even with a remote starter/charger hooked up directly to the battery cables.
Is my solenoid shot, or do I have a wiring problem somewhere? Can boosting from a car battery burn out the solenoid?
Thanks.
Fred.
